Taken the bike out for a spin recently – or is the weather still uncooperative?
Very dry over here- there was a shower a few weeks ago with a rainbow out the back!

I’d start off with Fritz, they have a good bunch of tutorials to get started with, and the pages are nicely put together, and things are well explained. The others are great as well, the GEDA is really impressive.

It’s going back to the day of signup to SO (March 2013) when it copied over the Gravatar profile as it were. Cannot recall using Gravatar before then, must have done it through some WP website then.
There’s an AutoHotkey for X11 based on the earliest AHK V1 (2004). It seems Windows has changed so much, it would be a gargantuan effort to make a Linux AHK with the same capabilities of the latest AHK V1 or V2.
Should they be PM’d regarding the issue?

Certainly! Just “zhuzhed up” the old AL lab article a little, without doing too much yet. It would be wonderful if you could try it out on the Linux build for comparison, and of course, the building of your own family tree! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you tried Virtual Desktop or Oculus Link on Windows yet? Like to know the difference to NMS.
Funny, the noise from the fans always seem loud to begin with, but like tinnitus, it eventually fades to white noise. As long as they don’t develop a nasty squeak, like the Mistral fan used downstairs here in summer. ๐Ÿ˜›

Does the daughter board go in one of the PCI slots?
Two speakers are usually enough unless it’s a large room- sounds as if you are accustomed to the quad setup from the old system, they would be necessary for VR no doubt.

Ah yes, done in the days when Harvey Weinstein was “young and innocent, so it’s on the fav. list. Rick Wakeman’s music another plus:

Almost to the end of episode 1 of Vagrant Queen, but no, although it’s bright and snappy, there’s that deja vous feeling of been there before, the dialogue perhaps the main culprit. Take me back to early teens, will definitely complete it! ๐Ÿ™‚
The critics were right about Fallen, so much could have been done to make it more entertaining; “beloved cult classic” doesn’t quite cut it, thus recommended for a high spot in the “not to watch” list. ๐Ÿ˜›

Just curious, in the light of this rather old question, how customizable will the dual boot OS choice look after it has been tweaked to state of usability?
Interesting about the fans, if not through the motherboard, are they connected through a port or something else?
Yeah, forgot about the sound, so their motherboard doesn’t have a slot for a soundcard then?

The only way to login to Gravatar these days is to have your email “associated” with WordPress.com. Something must have changed since the last time I logged into Gravatar, for it was a long time ago, and there is no record (or memory) of any WordPress.com account on the books here. So, logging in the your email address, there is no password prompt, but an email sent from WordPress.com entitled Log in to WordPress.com and containing a jump link to log in, along with the obligatory link timeout warning. Clicking the link, and voila, the user is logged in, with no password verification prompting at all.
But, they must have a password of mine on record, because there exists a reset password link page. Hope of all hopes it will not, as is can be the case, be requiring the old password in order to change it. ๐Ÿ˜›

Sorry, missed something, or some kind of clue has now cropped up on their web page. There is at top “as seen in … BIRDSBESAFEยฎ CAT COLLAR COVER” and this comes up as the first image:

Oh dear, here we go again. Last night was vacuuming around this chassis and might have knocked something, as the screen was frozen when I got to it some time later. So the above problems with rig either relate to a loose connection of something in the circuitry, or a power irregularity when the vacuum was turned on from the same 4 socket power terminal. Yes, it’s an original VAX 121 (1990) which uses a fair bit of juice, so might have upset something. Nothing in the logs as usual.
Newish error came up in the boot, wonder if they can help at all?

Forgot clean about the LI, thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚
Still, dispensing with the LI button, and replacing the UL button with something like this code might be more usable:

Unordered item

Unordered item

Unordered item

Unordered item

The above-mentioned nesting hopefully works a bit better with something like this:

                            	<li

Unordered item

Unordered item

Unordered item

Unordered item

                            	>

Why did they call TikTok TikTok? Some of the answers on that page mention Tik-Tok of Oz and the Sladek novel, most mention clocks, but none mentioned the following:

Saw Natural Born Killers the other day, if you like a discordant cacophony of loud and scream, this is the movie for you. Hints of Pulp fiction in the sets and transitions, garish, violent and memorable, certainly no cure for migraine. Over here there is no urgency in adding it to the watch-again list. ๐Ÿ™‚
Coming to the end of Vigil, it’s credible, thought provoking, and tense. That article mentioned reported inaccuracies in dialogue and plot, which didn’t cause to much worry here either. ๐Ÿ™‚

The wiping of the post cache isn’t supposed to happen at all when clicking the back button. Didn’t happen prior to June IIRC, so something must have happened to trigger the error handling in Cache Enabler- might have to query them.
Post content is also wiped when this error crops up (also see private sandbox thread):

Had any experience with kmail-lists at KDE? Years ago I purchased some cat collars from BirdsBeSafe which were fine, (the cat back then always found a way to offload them).
Just got an email update from their site about some new designs (genuine), funny they still had this email address as there is no record here of an account registered with them. In case there was, the “Forgot Password” never triggered the activation email. So clicked the “unsubscribe” button, and it got me this!

Ensuring an orbital stays in its initial position is challenge enough, so adding/reducing mass to it may add further complications. Then there are other factors to consider like solar storms, meteors, interstellar radiation, and our very own space debris. To produce anything organic on it, temperature control is required, and is a challenge even on a “primitive” model such as the space station.
The depressing news on the space elevator is from Wikipedia:

Available materials are not strong and light enough to make an Earth space elevator practical. Some sources expect that future advances in carbon nanotubes (CNTs) could lead to a practical design. Other sources believe that CNTs will never be strong enough. Possible future alternatives include boron nitride nanotubes, diamond nanothreads and macro-scale single crystal graphene.

Having everything hydrogen fuelled for energy and heat would reduce waste a bit, the problem of waste disposal/exchange is, and will ever be costly and involved. Surely the garbots of tomorrow can come to the party as well! ๐Ÿ™‚

                                          Header3

                                          And not:
