Oh! I found my soldering iron! 😀

Awesome images! I should browse Deviant Art more often!

For a ship, the clowns could have a mini ship like a clown car 😛

Cool! Didn’t know about such a device. Will definitely need to read more about it!

I was thinking of setting geothermal generators in the volcanoes but TEGs could also be handy! How big can they be before efficiency tanks, I wonder? I don’t see that mentioned in the article. The idea with volcanoes is definitely worth exploring more!

So apparently, the h1 and h2 tags are set to display: none so only h3 will work. I’ve fixed the issue by setting the display to unset, which resets things back to the default behavior 🙂

Let me know if there’s anything out of whack! No idea why they would hide the h1 and h2 tags

    Edit:

Looks like it caused the title to appear on the forum index. Guess that was a header tag 😛

I may be able to fix that issue. I clean forgot about the descendant selectors. It’s been too long since I worked with this stuff! It’ll come back to me as I go!

Hmm, unset may not do what I thought it does. The default is block but unset causes it to show inline….

The property value of unset is new to me as it didn’t exist last time I was working with CSS

I’ve set up a new section to hold testing threads since some of the bugs we’ve encountered break other posts in a thread. 🙂

Seems to be working here. Which editor are you using?

Sorry for the new topic. Wasn’t sure if you were done with the old sandbox posts

We should harness the heat from volcanoes for practical purposes. Many metals can withstand the temperatures so there’s no reason not to!

Mostly cleared and explored that area! Still need to find the last shrine and complete the other one, which I’ll do later. Just wasn’t in the mood for it 😛

I love how hidden cave entrances are now marked with Blupees (a blue spirit/rabbit thing that gives money when struck). Makes it much easier to explore!

And I got the Hylian shield! It was incredibly easy: all I did was summon a boat and then lit a pyre. Voila!

We need a show about literal clowns that develop a space program. Why? Why not! 😀

Amazing! Sounds just like a bird!

Had a new one crop up in my YT feed:

    Absolutely love it!

Rewatched the Toxic Avenger the other day and it’s a blast! 😀

And caught Dead & Buried yesterday and it was quite good!

    😛

Sorry, was referring to these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_(journal) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nature_(journal) 🙂

Cool! Wish we still had catalogues like that but they mostly stopped about fifteen years ago. I miss them as they were quite fun 🙁

Sure! Would provide more atmosphere! 😀

Yep, Doctorow has some intriguing ideas. Used to read him on Boing Boing back when he was a regular contributor.

xkcd used to have some fun with him, too 😛

Good that it’s known about. Hopefully they can get it fixed in the next update! 🙂

Yeah, I may need to ask them on their forums if I decide I don’t like Pop OS

Nice list! Will keep it handy!

Yeah, if it weren’t for the poor VR support, I’d probably try forgoing Windows entirely. I also may need to install the drivers for the fan controller.

Hopefully *nix VR support will reach feature parity with Windows soon!

We definitely need to get something cooking! On that note, we’ll probably want an ideas thread at some point 🙂

It’s got two 1 TB NVM drives. I plan on putting Windows on one and *nix on the other so that should help. I don’t use a whole lot of space, generally, so hopefully that will be enough. Sounds good, will look into the health reports 🙂

I always try to turn off autosaving with applications and games partly to reduce wear and tear on the drive but coding has a lot of writes due to the nature of it so splitting up the use of the drives should help somewhat 🙂

    Nice!

Most of the special landmarks in the area have been taken over by the enemy! We need some spoiler tag support or similar 😛

I’m currently trying to liberate the Old Man’s hut, which is a bit difficult. The Yiga clan has barricaded the area so you’re fighting in a cramped space. I’ll drive them out! Just going to take a few lives! 😛

It’s a Logitech G502. My previous mouse was a G9. I quite like it: it’s nice and big for my large hands and only has the buttons I need and no more. I’ll probably get the same model when I replace it 🙂

I had a mouse break on me in the middle of using it once. Not fun! 🙁

Yeah, I’m not sure. The main thing I was thinking of was seeing if it boots properly and then runs correctly from the image. If so, that does narrow things down a bit. Have you done any BIOS or firmware upgrades recently?

Been looking at scientific journals again and, while there are a lot of them, Science and Nature, along with their affiliates, look rather promising

in reply to: Legend of Zelda #626

So there’s a side quest that takes you back to the starting area from Breath of the Wild. The area has undergone some changes though: it’s now filled with with very high level enemies and is quite dangerous! Of course, I’m still exploring it 😀

in reply to: “Are you sure you want to do that?” #622

Yeah, been getting it a lot over here. Starting to copy the post before I submit just in case. I really need to get in the habit of hitting refresh!

    in reply to: Random #613

    Sorry! It’s this one 🙂

I really do enjoy it even if I’m not very good. Never been very good at games but that’s okay!

When GOG was giving away Neverwinter, the servers went down for almost a week! They wound up giving it away again a few months later as a result 😛

Hot and humid! It’s horrible! I cheated the other day and grabbed some ice cream on the way home from my walk, though, so that helped 😛

in reply to: Films & TV Shows #594

And watched the last one! Even with the plot holes and paradoxes, they’re wonderful films! 😀

in reply to: Forum Search Issues #592

    Will do 🙂
