Oh! This was also a good one

And Terror Train was fun. Although, they did kill off Copperfield’s character in the sword box 😛

Porky’s is no longer available for viewing, sadly 🙁

However! Slumber Party Massacre II is available, which could be fun. May watch Troma first, though, after I watch Fletch Lives. Troma films are fun!

Yeah, I like to read Wiki after a viewing to help fill in the blanks as I often miss things 🙂

I really should go back to watching anime at some point. Maybe in another week or two

Cool! Lots of weird town names about. 😀 But Shock and Surprise didn’t make the cut 🙁

Wasn’t aware of it but will add it to the play list!

The books are really fun! Highly recommended!

Been making excellent progress! I’ve been focused on unlocking the main towns for gear restocks and have also started unlocking the Great Fairies to upgrade my gear. Been exploring the depths as well but I’m still not geared up enough to do well down there 😛

One of the side quests has you tracking down a herd of runaway goats 😛

The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane was a good one but it definitely wasn’t a horror film, even though Roku classifies it as such.

Probably going to take a break from these films for a bit and watch straight comedy before I search out some bad films to watch. Got Porky’s lined up as well as Fletch and some Troma films 😀

Started reading the Discworld books the other day and they’re a blast! Lots of humor and craziness. They’re right up my alley! 😀

Sorry! LN2 refers to liquid nitrogen. 🙂

There used to be a trend where people would toss random objects in a bucket of it and then capture the subsequent splintering process in slow motion.

Yep, definitely don’t want to be putting it in your mouth! Now, Dippin Dots on the other hand….

We’re actually having a rather mild Summer so far. It’s rarely gotten over 85F. My electric bill is the lowest it’s ever been at this time of year. It’s been nice!

Yeah, I have to go to a nursery out of town to get good local plants. Most of the ones in town just sell the standard assortment. The one out of town specifically sells local varieties, however, so it’s always best to call them to make sure they have the variety I want as it varies from season to season.

    So there’s a town called Surprise in Arizona…? That was a…surprise 😛

Looks like it’s from 2017 but I haven’t used it since 2020. I was a bit hard on it (stupid clicker games 😛 ) so I’ll probably look at getting a new one in a year or two. 🙂

Thanks, will look at that! I’ve been tempted to wear gloves while using keyboards and mice to keep the grime off (and most things, really) 😛

Sounds good! Lots of Linux choices to choose from! Took me a few years before I settled on a distro for every day use but most would be fine for these testing purposes 🙂

What’s a good way of cleaning up a mouse without damaging it? My skin is really oily so I tend to get a lot of grime on things even with constant hand washing.

Apologies if this is more of a general hardware question instead of a discussion on old devices. I can split it off if desired 🙂

in reply to: Forum Search Issues #516

Yeah, the main search seems to be for the blog while the other for the forums. It would be nice if we could get a unified one

The style pack does have an option for better theme support but it requires some template tweaking. Maybe that would help with getting things to play nicer?

    Mad’s always good! 😀

Still need to go through my old issues!

I really miss MadTV. I stumbled on it from time to time while in hotels and it was always enjoyable!

    It’s a shame I can’t catch Portlandia here 🙁

This was an interesting one. Bit slow to start off and doesn’t really get going until about halfway through. The first half is mostly just preparations. Not going on the repeat list even if it was a curiosity with the headliners

Looks like we posted at the same time!

I can see the sounds matching Superman’s themes quite nicely!

We have a bunch of cicadas around here. They’re quite relaxing!

    in reply to: Random #511

No idea! They are larger than the ones I usually pick but are still green so it’s hard to say

Definitely not the sort of thing I want to run through the AC pipes 😛

The videos of LN2 used to be pretty fun to watch. Too bad they went out of style!

They were selling firewood advertised as Christmas logs in 90F 😛 Let’s go with stocking up!

Ooh, I like the bloom. The lavender over here looks completely different! It does say part shade so hopefully it’ll be okay 🙂

    And another classic! 😀

Saw Piranha yesterday and that was a blast!

There’s this page in the Chrome settings that may be useful: chrome://settings/performance

But, yeah, that would be a handy feature to have to help prioritize things when doing work. For example, you’d be able to disable the playlist you were listening to when it comes time to upload the project without losing your place.

    From the vault! 😀

Awesome! I’ve been tempted to take a stool and make it look like a toadstool myself. 😀

We have a lot of groups (some local government) it looks like that post online regarding lost/found pets. Not sure of the success rate, though. I think a lot of people aren’t aware of the listing services. Maybe a better information campaign would help?

Yep! It’s a curious event. I can see it being used for things at a great distance such as for communication or even beaming energy back without direct lines of sight. Still early stages yet but it holds a lot of potential!

I found more grape vines that are producing in the swamp. Made a mental note of them for August. 🙂

I probably need to pour some more vinegar into my air handler’s port. Did it a while ago before Spring but it’s probably a good idea to do it again now that the hot season is starting.

I was at the hardware store yesterday and they’ve already started moving the Christmas stuff in. It’s too early!

Any desire to run the stress testing programs again? They may be able to shed some light on things.

Yeah, they could have organized things better!

Saw The Amityville Horror yesterday and, while a decent film, it wasn’t my cup of tea. It couldn’t really keep my interest so I only got the gist of it.

in reply to: “Are you sure you want to do that?” #476

I don’t get that error when that occurs, it just bumps me to the login and wipes out the post.

    Sounds good 🙂
