Yay! How far back does your DB go so far?

Cool! Those are quite extensive! That must have taken a lot of work!

Cool! Didn’t know they did a reboot. And a TV show…? Didn’t know that.

These films can be fun but the plots are always full of holes (no pun intended…I think) ! I guess that’s part of why I like them. 😛

Sounds fun! Will add it to the list! Only available for rental currently but maybe that’ll change 🙂

Child’s Play was fun but, golly, it had a lot of plot holes!

For example: they jumped from the kid being in a mental institution, just having busted out his cell but wandering the facility still, to being at home. How did he get out without anyone catching him? How did he find his way home? It was 1988! It’s not like he had GPS or had been to the…[Read more]

Yep, it’s been dubbed! I always try to watch dubs as I have issues with reading subtitles and following along with what’s going on onscreen at the same time 🙂

Been meaning to watch The Descent since it came across my radar a few years ago. Saw it mentioned somewhere in passing and I thought it looked intriguing but it was pushed to the back of…[Read more]

I still get the message that it needs to be set up by the organization. I’ve been trying every week or two but without success 🙁

Yeah, I’d love to save those things! We have a lot of good stuff in there!

Interesting. Didn’t realize they could quantify it with a formula. Going to need to read the article when I get the opportunity!

  • The big issue with it is that it reimplements the language features instead of using the already existing features.

Yeah, that’s not exactly cool. It’s also potential for abuse. A malicious party, for instance, could set up a script to download and install over and over again, driving up the fees to astronomical levels after the initial purchase.

With a stag as the game piece? 😛

We do have the Escape from the Swamp idea. Sadly, we weren’t able to grab it before Teams went belly up. Perhaps we could try to pick it up again?

Yeah, they’re a bit of a rarity these days. 🙁

Snowy was the underrated star of the series! I do love his commentary on the events in the stories. 🙂

    Over the…[Read more]

    It’s a wonderful film!

I think part of the issue is that it’s a bit hard to get creative with war films these days. Granted, they can still be good (Das Boot comes to mind) but I think the general public has grown weary of the genre as of late, especially with all the global conflicts in the last decade. Speaking of Das Boot, I really need to…[Read more]

Yeah, seems that way looking at this post at GOG, but things have changed somewhat since then. Reading from the general consensus from this thread at Reddit, if you were to acquire the game now, get…

Would need to watch the old Universal Monsters films again but I believe it was the Book of the Dead. So the mummy wasn’t looking for its mummy but its book. It should have gone into repo work with a library! Sadly, the Library of Alexandria is no more 🙁

Will test! Give me a bit! Got some other things to take care of 🙂

Been re-reading the Tintin stories lately and they never get old. Every few years or so, I pick one off my shelf and they’re delightful every time! 🙂

    That instrumental is quite relaxing!

Sadly, Universal lost a large quantity of their archives in a fire 🙁

    And an old favorite!

I also changed the Terra type to Bug to increase the damage output even further and it worked beautifully! Mewtwo is now mine! 😀

    Looks good! 🙂

Better than having to dig up an old book just to be chased around by a homicidal mummy! 😛

  • Spastic Hamburger replied to the topic PrgLnch in the forum Projects 1 year ago

    Sounds good 🙂

The first post still has some artifacts from where it was copied over from AFK. Would you like to look at brushing the sand off them?

  • Looks like gcstar development has started up again. Hopefully it can get added back to the package repositories. I hate managing dependencies manually as it can get difficult to track which packages belong together. I generally try to avoid that route unless I need to build a library from source for a project I’m working on

    The other option is…[Read more]

  • Inserting emoji on Linux isn’t exactly intuitive. Ctrl + Shift + E brings up an “e” in the text area. At first, I thought it was just a letter but if you hit Space, it brings up the emoji menu. They should make it more obvious 😛

Good to know. Have you tried the Enhanced versions? I wonder if they fix some of the quirks.

Do they mean that the original plays nicer with mods or that mods improve it more than they would the Enhanced version?

  • Spastic Hamburger replied to the topic Pokemon in the forum Discussion 1 year ago

So Mewtwo is hard! I’ve only found two Pokemon that are actually able to survive a battle with it: Spiritomb and Mew. The latter was released just for the event and has some special properties to let it handle Mewtwo while the former is Dark/Ghost so is immune to almost all of Mewtwo’s moves save for Ice Beam, which doesn’t do a whole lot of…[Read more]

Another thing to try would be to see if it exists in another WebKit/Blink-based browser. Since I don’t get it in Chrome, it could very well be an uncaught exception or some other bug in Edge
