Yeah, I remember how Windows used to overwrite my newer video drivers with some that were several years old. It broke things when it did that! 😛 Fortunately, it seems that Microsoft has fixed that issue 🙂

Funny thing about this, we say nothing if things are fine, and become very loud if they are not.
Yep, video drivers updates used to be weird, MS preferred to handle them “automatically”, the video driver folk were always wont find something to complain about WU, and in many cases, justifiably so. Things have settled somewhat since then. 🙂

Speaking of, I need to get my own drivers updated at some point, specifically the video drivers. Been a ton of updates since I got the new system and I haven’t been keeping up. 😛

Let’s hope it helps! There is a plugin available that lets you add snippets to the site so they don’t get lost during a theme update. Might be worth looking at once we get BuddyPress updated (I’ll try to get those threads up this weekend if you don’t beat me to it) 🙂

Tried a LiteSpeed modification, the above would work for a local setup, as corrected at BBPress.

The city was using a robotic lawnmower yesterday to clean up the roadways and that thing was quiet! Was fun watching it for a few minutes while the guy manipulated the controller 🙂

Well tonight the bubble on the forums landing page was at least a minute slower than the one in this forum topic. Hmmm, don’t think there was this particular problem with Cache enabler, assuming the memory is reliable.
Can say with certainty there were no issues before the caching plugins bubbled up. 🙂

Could be that the caching only affects the index? I think the previous plugin we used had the same behavior

The “read” bubble dissipating within the forum thread, but not in the main or root forums page points to an indication that at least something in there is off. 😛
