  • American Hustle is worth a look, loud blaring dialog, music and effects are de rigueur in making everything come across as more convincing, did note the nutritional reference in microwaving food, which, believe it or not, sparked a law suit.
Monster In Law came up with one or two memorable gags, plus a bonus surprise in the TV…[Read more]

  • Yeah, Taskbar Settings => Widgets, turn off, don’t use MS Widgets much as heavily dependent on FTA state media news delivery. The default settings is there’s quite a bit of polling from news/weather servers, given some investment in time, you could get them to filter thing to taste. πŸ™‚
Updated VS, but still to get something up on it.

  • Is there a way to disable the news ticker on the Windows taskbar? In finding it quite distracting and tend to glance at it. I’ve looked around in the various settings but couldn’t find it. I’ve always had difficulty finding my way around Windows, which is part of why I mostly use Linux πŸ˜›

  • Yuck. The latest update to OneUI 6 is a huge battery drain and has some serious performance issues (pretty noticeable on mine since it’s a basic model). Battery drain has doubled and the UI is much slower since they pushed it out. Hopefully they release a hot fix at some point πŸ™

Entertainment Earth (a Sideshow competitor with a lot more stuff) had some too, at one point. Nothing recent, though. Power Girl doesn’t get enough publicity πŸ™

At one point, xkcd was linking to Indexed but that link was removed sometime in the last fifteen years. Wonder if they had a falling out?

There’s another idea: all the happenings on…[Read more]

Ooh, Galactus showed up on that page. Lovely, it’s very much like a Jack Kirby production:
    Galactus
Cool, it’s got an xkcd comics vibe to it, launching just after in 2006. idea on time, it’s possible the reverse can be true, things are trending to less complicated, well explained, and bundled with instruction manuals written in the universal and easily…[Read more]

  • The other films that are planned have been trapped in development hell for a long time but they do have a game coming out!

Beginning to run out of slashers on Tubi so I’ll be moving to science fiction soon. Probably should rewatch the Brain that wouldn’t Die again. That was a fun one!

  • Spastic Hamburger replied to the topic Random in the forum Discussion 8 months, 2 weeks ago

I don’t think so, it’s mostly just research right now. They’re using it to play with quantum states and that sort of thing. Not much but baby steps! πŸ™‚

Yep, that’s the one! I could order the cover but it’s probably not worth spending an extra 5 USD in addition to the cover price just for it, no matter how much I like it πŸ˜›

It’s in tomography, imaging scans are possible, is there much tech available for it?
    You mean this?
    Power Girl and Snowman
Regardless of the very forgiving nature of Power Girl, the shop will still have to answer to Snowman!
There are heaps of posters available, even figurines, have you found any any larger than this one?
As well as the ages of the earth, quizzlings…[Read more]

I somehow missed the terahertz revolution in science, it looks like….

The shop didn’t order the snowman cover for Power Girl. Makes me sad. πŸ™

They do tend to be hot or miss on the event related covers so I always pick a back up if I’m not a big fan of the main cover in case they didn’t order the event ones. I may need to ask them how they…[Read more]

Only Ice-Kream, a speciality available only from Killer Klown Konfectionary! Did see the film an awful long time ago – do have an eye out for the merch, a welcoming doormat is just the thing!

Yep, scale is always an issue. Maybe one day the issues will be solved!

Over here, quick release isn’t very popular as people tend to steal the tires. Bit of a problem in the US. πŸ™

Wheel of Fortune is just a “Fill in the blanks” Periodic Table! A take home version, if you will. πŸ˜›

  • Night of the Lepus was hilarious! In one part, a guy in a bunny costume launches himself at another guy, hugging him. The costumes didn’t even look real πŸ˜€

Death Spa was a lot of fun. If you ever want to open a gym, it’s good viewing for what not to do. No parties in the workout room, for instance! πŸ˜›

  • πŸ˜€ Draw the FuddGates! That man has to be held culpable for Fudding the landscape with wascally wabbits!

Could have been a directorial ploy to grab the attention of certain patrons known to fall asleep in those dark, dank, smoky cinemas of yesteryear, because they have each borne witness to predictable plots and lifeless acting all before. Either…[Read more]

  • No bunny park!? But we need the Killer Wabbit!

    Will look out for those!

You’ll probably want to skip The Majorettes. Funnily enough, the critical response section echoes my sentiments exactly. About an hour into the film, it makes a detour with a brand new plot in the same film and…[Read more]

It was the demo, actually. Haven’t played the sequels or remake yet but they’ve been on my wish-list forever, along with a host of other games…. πŸ˜›

  • Funnily enough, the movie was originally entitled Rabbits.
You know, there is no google Rabbit World amusement park, there is RabbidsLand and a game though, and watch for those Wabbits – this should have been the main theme for the film:
