There’s this page in the Chrome settings that may be useful: chrome://settings/performance

But, yeah, that would be a handy feature to have to help prioritize things when doing work. For example, you’d be able to disable the playlist you were listening to when it comes time to upload the project without losing your place.

    From the vault! 😀

Awesome! I’ve been tempted to take a stool and make it look like a toadstool myself. 😀

We have a lot of groups (some local government) it looks like that post online regarding lost/found pets. Not sure of the success rate, though. I think a lot of people aren’t aware of the listing services. Maybe a better information campaign would help?

Yep! It’s a curious event. I can see it being used for things at a great distance such as for communication or even beaming energy back without direct lines of sight. Still early stages yet but it holds a lot of potential!

I found more grape vines that are producing in the swamp. Made a mental note of them for August. 🙂

I probably need to pour some more vinegar into my air handler’s port. Did it a while ago before Spring but it’s probably a good idea to do it again now that the hot season is starting.

I was at the hardware store yesterday and they’ve already started moving the Christmas stuff in. It’s too early!

Any desire to run the stress testing programs again? They may be able to shed some light on things.

Yeah, they could have organized things better!

Saw The Amityville Horror yesterday and, while a decent film, it wasn’t my cup of tea. It couldn’t really keep my interest so I only got the gist of it.

I don’t get that error when that occurs, it just bumps me to the login and wipes out the post.

    Sounds good 🙂

Got the desktop computer ordered yesterday. Finally. 😛

After painstaking research, I went with System76 due to their *nix support for the hardware and the fact that they were getting back to my questions in just a couple of hours. Going to take a while to get it as they’re a small group but that’s okay. I still need to get the rest of the accessories ordered (upgrading a bit from the last system) and it’ll be a while after getting it until I manage to get back to being used to having one but it’s a start. I also need to break down the old system and clean up the room a bit. 🙂

They didn’t offer a system without an OS so I’ll need to be careful when installing Windows so it doesn’t wipe the bootloader. I may see if I can disable the *nix drive in the UEFI settings temporarily so I don’t risk anything by trying to take out the drive. Or I may just throw caution to the wind and reinstall *nix afterwards if something breaks

I was getting some slowness and resource errors from Apache the other day while I was fixing up BuddyPress. Maybe the this is related?

    😀

May try to add to the adventures in the coming weeks. Hopefully inspiration strikes!

Yep! It was incredible! Horrible film but absolutely a blast! 😀

I wonder if the local shop may have some of these. Will need to ask them!

Oh, definitely. I do love the laugh tracks and sorely miss them!

Wish I could get it here 🙁

I do need to get back to watching series over films. Perhaps in a few weeks I’ll take a break! 😛

No worries. I figured out what it’s doing: when you add a list item, it puts it outside the bbp-body block. So something with the editor or bbPress

    in reply to: Styles #455

Will take a look! I’m going to need to adjust the font on that page, too. Looks like I missed those bits yesterday when I was doing BuddyPress.

Not sure I can fix the list items but I’ll look at them. I suspect that’s a bug with the theme or editor, though

    Edit:

They also appear to break the blocks for the following posts. We may wind up filing a bug report

Yeah, it sounds like it may be time to put it out to the pasture. Do you happen to have a Linux live CD lying around to see if that works? If so, that may help narrow down the problem even further

A few months back, someone dropped a pair of glasses so we’ve been keeping them on a fire hydrant where they can be seen. They’re still there so, yesterday, I decided to grab some moss and give the hydrant a beard to go with the “eyes” 😛

Got through the Wind Temple yesterday. That should unlock the rest of the game. After I determine what has been unlocked, I’ll start exploring and doing the side quests. 🙂

    in reply to: Styles #446

Okay, BuddyPress is fixed up 🙂

Just the member pages with activity and things. The plan is to give it a consistent look that matches the forums 🙂

Looking at the selectors, most things seem to be contained to just a few classes so hopefully it won’t be too messy to theme!

I think I may watch Howard the Duck this weekend. 😛

Got it, thanks! Sorry, didn’t even think about checking the Walrus email. Will start looking through it! 🙂

Sounds good. Will watch for the PM! 🙂
