Yep, hopefully it can be resolved! Access has been intermittent lately but if I’m going to try and copy over some threads in the times that I do have access 🙂

    Edit:

Copied one over. Will need to do more work on some of the others as I’ll need to make sure the links remain. Will get there!

So Amazon sent me an update on the guide book pre-order: “We’re sorry for the inconvenience but the item is now releasing a week earlier.” 😛

    😀

Cool! Somewhere, I saw bars of soap in the shapes of dice. 😀

Yuck! They really need to improve these things 🙁

I need to get the lava lamps back up and running. Haven’t used them in years and really need to change that 😛

    in reply to: Timestamps #411

    Will do 🙂

Always sad when they just do away with the content instead of archiving it or migrating it 🙁

A few years back, I found a copy of The 7th Guest in a box of discs that came from my dad’s place. It wasn’t something I ever got and he never got into games so I honestly have no idea where they came from. They don’t even appear to have been taken out of the disc sleeves.

And they turned out great! Will definitely make them again! 🙂

So one part of the game has you building a catapult to launch yourself across a large gap. It was a blast! I wonder what the limit is on catapult size. Only one way to find out! 😀

    Sounds good:)

Still hope to get Walrus going! Still paying the server fees so the data should be safe. Speaking of which, I need to get the domain renewed. 🙂

Nice themes he’s got! No mention of integration with something like bbPress. Maybe theme authors are moving on from support for it for whatever reason?

    in reply to: Styles #400

Maybe! I can certainly use the current page as a starting point and we can go from there 🙂

Using the blog would be nice at some point. We’ll get there! 🙂

Nope, not region locked! Will check it out!

It’s really good, much better than the the previous game. They even filled some plot holes that they created, such as why the Rito and Zora exist together when the former evolved from the latter.

I was working on getting some chests I missed yesterday in the starter area but wound up falling after grabbing them to the wrong part of the map. I could have fast traveled back but meh. I wound up landing close to a village so I’ll just go ahead and spend the hour or so trekking to it so I can unlock it before I go back to the first dungeon. 😛

Unlike the first game, a lot of things don’t unlock unless you do at least one dungeon first. Was working on that before I took a break to grab the chests after being launched into the sky. I have a hard time landing where I want during the launches and often wind up a region away 😛

Yeah, Nintendo mostly just develops for their own systems outside of a few mobile games. It would be nice on the computer but I can understand their reasoning.

Cool! I think Roku has Trilogy of Terror so will add it to the watchlist! I really enjoy these older horror films. Much better than more recent ones! I’m also finding I enjoy the unrated ones more than ones with ratings as they’re not as constrained by the ratings outfits so they’re able to put more into them. Some of it is budget related, too 😛

Saw Cannibal Girls yesterday. It was a really good thriller but I wouldn’t call it a comedy. It did have a few chuckles in it but if there was more, it was lost on me.

Roku has a lot of horror classics available on the Roku Channel!

I liked Robot Wars a lot. I haven’t seen it in almost ten years! Yeah, it and Battle Bots come and go over here. At the high school level, the equivalents have been going strong for a while but upper level competitions don’t seem to last. Really makes me sad 🙁

    in reply to: Styles #393

Looks good on the phone now 🙂

Okay, I added the rest of the classes to the darker green style. Don’t see any differences but it probably doesn’t hurt to make sure everything is covered just in case we find them!

Eventually, we’ll probably want to clean up the CSS as it’s getting a bit ugly 😛

Any other changes that would probably look nice? If nothing comes to mind, I can start syncing up BuddyPress and the blog for a consistent look 🙂

Ooh, looks scrumptious! I have everything but the apricots. Will check the store for them! 🙂

I really do need to add a low protein flour to my cupboard. Would probably greatly improve the piecrusts!

Definitely! A few years ago, I was gifted some guava jelly and that was fabulous!

In the past, I’ve made what I call apple biscuits by taking a piecrust recipe and simply adding some baking powder to it and then wrapping the apple pieces inside. Turns out great! Sort of like dumplings but with more body 🙂

I can certainly increase the yellow content. I went with ivory as it’s much warmer than white so is easier on the eyes but I’ll bump it up a tad. How’s it look now? Will check on my end later when I’m back on the mobile 🙂

Got the first class, what are the other three for?

So Chrome has a handy contrast checker that I just found in its color editor that led me to a limey color. Hopefully it works well on the phone, too! 🙂

Saw Puppet Master yesterday and that was fun. They really did a good job with the puppets!

    in reply to: Styles #376

Yep! Some good stuff in there!

    Sounds good! 🙂

Yeah, I’m not sure about the templates. We definitely should probably figure out which ones are used where. Once we do, we may want a thread on it to help us keep track of things. Maybe it has to do with the code snippet you had to add to get them to show up?

Boom! Got most of it! Still need to come up with a color for the reply field and the link colors may need adjusting. I also changed the font color to ivory. I never understood why the property for font color is color instead of font-color 😛

The border colors probably need adjusting, too, but we’ll get there!

    Edit:

I copied over our customizations into the first post to help us see things at a glance. We may also want to round some more corners to make things not so angular. It’s going to look amazing when we’re done with it!

Looking good on the phone but the links are still hard to see. Will need to find a good color that is both readable and sets them apart

    in reply to: Timestamps #370

It’s on the parts where it says, “Last post was so and so ago” and it occurs with all posts but only when logged out. When I’m logged in, the relative timestamps are updated normally when I refresh. Not occurring now but I’ll try running the tools later when I can properly test it 🙂

    in reply to: Styles #368

Had to put it in the style pack for now to get it working but I think I see what’s going on after looking at the page source. It’s putting our custom styles in a style tag and then loading the other stylesheets afterwards. It also loads the custom CSS stylesheet first so anything after it is overridden. If we want to keep things self-contained, we may want to look at the solution posed in point six here

And for completeness, here’s the WordPress docs on the subject. Nothing really new but it doesn’t hurt to have it around 🙂

How’s the color choice so far (my eyes are saying the color may be a bit too something or other; I like how it looks but it’s causing some eyestrain :P)? 🙂

    Edit:

And the font color needs to be adjusted. While perfectly readable on my laptop, you can hardly see the text on my phone. 😛

We’ll get there! One step at a time!

    in reply to: Random #360

Definitely. Back when I had cable, I was a big fan of some of the stuff SyFy would crank out, such as their fantasy films. Wasn’t a big fan of their stuff like Sharktopus, though. That was kind of pushing it a bit 😛

😀 I think these are just visually styled and probably of better quality in terms of materials than the cheap set (but highly rated and very stylish) I ordered off of Amazon. Always good to have a nice looking set around!

Yep! Got it in the garage! Need to move it to an outlet after I organize the garage better, though, so that I have better access to my tools but I’ll get there!
