Yep, can’t see it without logging in so the private permission seems to be working. Using Chrome on mobile right now but I’ll test it on the computer too, see if that helps narrow it down.
It seems linked to my IP address as the message comes up after I click the login button after closing out the private browsing session and opening a new one. It could even be related to something like Fail2Ban. Had to whitelist my IP address in the past on servers as it kept blocking me inexplicably but it could be CleanTalk.

Looking at the settings, it’s rather confusing. There is a setting for SMS authentication but it doesn’t let me do it on a per-member basis and the documentation kind of contradicts itself. It says that it’ll be enabled for the entire group but also mentions in the same article that everyone needs to be licensed even if it’s not used by them. However, I’m not seeing anything that lets a member turn it off. I had enabled it briefly and then turned the setting off and that set off warning alarms in the Azure Portal so I hope I didn’t break anything by doing that :/

Something that would be nice would be to be able to add elements to the forums like we can the blog pages through the WYSIWYG editor. Not sure why we can’t right now. It may be a bbPress limitation. Probably not a necessity, would just be nice to have 🙂

Huh, was able to log in to Teams this morning after being locked out all weekend. Weird!
I found the setting in the Azure portal to add a phone number for authentication instead of an authenticator app. They won’t let us use email for authentication methods, just password reset. Are you able to access that setting? It’s under Users -> Your entry -> Authentication methods on the sidebar
I can split this off into another thread if we want to use this one for just content retrieval 🙂
Have you tried switching to a different theme? It’s possible it’s a similar issue as we were having with bbPress. WordPress should be pretty malleable. May be handy to keep a copy of the base theme without changes just for testing purposes.
Speaking of which, we lost the link we used to fix bbPress when Teams was flushed to the mutant alligators. Are you able to dig it back up? I’m thinking it may be helpful to make notes of our changes 🙂
On an encouraging note, some of the Teams data at least is still there. I had turned off the tablet before I went out of town and before your last post. I turned it back on after we got locked out and received a notification on the tablet with your last post. Couldn’t access it, of course, but it was there. Hopefully that means we’ll be able to access it again in the future
