Heaps more, darned tedious on the Android πDid we ever consider using ResIL instead?
Yes, you’ll want to check if the caller is looking for “(true)”.
Can’t imagine Morrowind running in Dos16/32 mode, He might have been hoping for a pending groundswell of Windows begone and DOS revivus. :p
Not a fan of namespaces during development- get everything prefixed::then convert at the final pass. Direct references while no thing of beauty, easy to debug. πYeah, might be a thing else it’s a slow train to judgement day. On the list!
Turns out a lot of content is not being spidered, so hit or miss – mainly miss. π
Wikpedia has a general list and a per country list of official holidays, a more detailed list is per day. U.N. days is a handy list but Fun holidays serves us best. π
Fire Rooster over here, what’s your zodiac beast?
A quick search for “Ο lamps” presented some rather expensive pieces, some of the less costly were Universo Positivo PI Lamp (Available In Various Colours), Casanova White Scandi Pi Lamp and Lamp made of polypropylene, LED, and felt. Lean pickings all around other than stuff like the Pi spinning top lamp and the Raspberry Pi-powered Jack-o-lantern. πCool! π
It’ll be a bit awkward determining for example what they meant by Wonky UI Behavior according to OS/Launch settings, inclusion of a date of original submission might help in any case.
Just curious as to now the repo being forked from the base, would it make sense to archive the base with a link onto the fork in the Readme?Cloudflare are being a little more aggressive with the smaller browsers – Pale Moon, Blizzard, Opera, CF maintain it can be modified in the client site settings. Unfortunately many Webmasters are strapped for “time and resources” these days. Pity.
Thanks, no reason why minGW shouldn’t be installed here, just got to keep tabs on the sheer volume of general content before the file system and memory start to get a bit janky. π
Having a look at X64dbg, terrific but documentation could do with a boost. Thing to do might be to pop a coin in the slot accompanied by a polite clearing of the throat. π
Cool, well then an opportunity to try UpperLowerProper for a blast on Linux?
Edit: Finally succumbed to MS 2FA on the account due to frets from MS, did not happen without a little pain. Weird thing too, signing out of the MS account now only works per tab – are they giving up on the vagaries of Chrome’s caching soo soon? π
Edit: Great pdf tomes of programming here, after looking through that list, feel very unread. πLooks good, watching. π
To be frank, never have been disappointed sitting down in front of the Flintstones, and not the only one there. It was an instant hit for Hanna Barbera, and an instant hit for working parents wanting the kids to shut up for half an hour while getting dinner ready. π
No matter what or how he does, the Lucas Blooper Ghosts will out! π
Do have a soft spot for Audrey’s Dance:
Can’t help noticing all the public Twin Peak clips on Youtube are less than a minute. You get a block notice otherwise.
Thing about the white elephant of copyright in its current form, you’d expect each and every one of the billions of video pages to have a copyright frame attached, with the log of the copyright owner and a tick or cross next to it. That means YouTube and the rest have to engage in a more meaningful relationship with these content providers along with advertisers, where deals involving permissions can be made for the more discerning (and paying) subscribers.
Not happening soon, but there will com a re-imagining one day. πIn case the countless millions reading are wondering, here’s a teaser:
In other words, do yourselves a favour!
They got back on the DNSCache issue, apparently it’s now soldered into the circuits. π
Reversing into this article may get the comprehension somewhat double parked, still very readable though. πThe guis and dialogs are for the old Windows themes as well, all have to be updated. Got the IDE up yet?
Like the Simpsons, the voices of the leads, particularly Fred, massage the senses with the subtlety and finesse of a cheese grater. Enhanced back in the day by bad reception and the crackly static of the speakers on the old cheap black and white TVs. π
Wonder if it was a stipulation of Lucas himself that the unedited stuff should never be released?
The Swimming Pool is a mood piece of elegance and style punctuated by rather surprising events and outcomes, and an almost Mona Lisa like enigma at the end. Think you might like it. π
Despite it’s humongous Oscar Awards, the lead character of Driving Miss Daisy wielded an irritating dialogue, depiction and demeanour with force enough to make one reach for the off-button. Stuck with it through and through, found there were a lot of other good things about the movie, not enough for a re-viewing in the foreseeable future unfotunately.
Ooh, and in memory of David Lynch 10Play are streaming Twin Peaks, it’s a cracker! πI suffer from a weird variation of the Kruger-Dunning Effect in that I think I am better than whatever individual I ever once aspired to be. Aspiration brings on the mythos of evolution, the true test is confidence, really, one has to be confident whatever in whatever they think of themselves, because confidence is a clear and foggy prism through which the mind visualizes and experiences its world. For those gifted in the world of experience, a trick of confidence is guaranteed to disappoint neither the beauty nor the beholder of the spectacle. π
One spinoff is the Dunning-Kruger Times, with such gems as Bernie Sanders Received a 44 Million Grant …
Another spinoff is the Dunning Kruger Operatic Effect, also requiring further analysis:
Using it – well – for an up and coming Odd Blog, more on that later. π
Like the idea of the Tuneup_plus name for this project despite it being more about information gathering, login is also required to obtain a copy of Gather_additional_dump_files.Good to know, oops – completely forgot about the 1.4 cable, so will pop in there next week. π
All of a sudden, the svchost is running “NETWORK SERVICE” at full bore after hibernate resume. Only supposed to happen on cold boot, Delivery Optimization is off, and Network Discovery is turned off for public networks if that is a thing. Windows Resume Application in BCD is as per usual, There are also events 7011 & 7046, and an issue with kb5052093, now pending restart here – hopefully will fix. π
Edit: Rebooting is no change, in case of something choking DNScache, trying the following:ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdnsThat looks really nice, and there are versions for Linux\Mac as well! Very active forums, not so much on chooka chooka trains though. π
Installed Ghidra, what an amazing project, as decompilers must have a bazillion things more than compilers for getting anything close to operational compiled code. A downside is their help system is rather antiquated, and there is no urgency to update it. πBack in the day, The Flintstones was a favourite just before dinner time. In terms of finely crafted animation, could we ever call it a Stone Age version of The Simpsons?
Completed The Consultant, kind of hit and miss really, a curio, as you never would guess how it ends until well over half way.
FTA are having The Oscar Goes To selection once again. TV Tropes never mentioned the original and best in their Are We There Yet collection, this very one from Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore,
Despite the massive plot and cast in LA Confidential didn’t quite tick all the boxes here. Things always take a brighter turn every time Danny De Vito enters the dialogue, the movie has a spicy quote base:Stomach of the week. Unemployed actor had frankfurter, french fries, alcohol, and sperm. Hell of a last supper, don’t you think?
Another one of interest is Dog Day Afternoon, tonight it was One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest which is recommended. Spoiler: Funny how Randle doesn’t realize that many of the other inmates are admitted voluntarily until completion of a good stint in his internment, in reality one would pick it up pretty soon. Or is that part of his feigning – probably wants more exploration of the book. π
It’s the culture of corps too, many of the denizens in existence within their hallowed walls have no choice but declare there is no such thing as life outside, before, or after the corp, therefore the corp is seen as the provider and maintainer of all the means of existence and sustenance for the present and incumbent. So why (on earth) do those poor sods have to elicit any concern about this other thing called “world” at all?
Nice! π What once ground these gears was why pay $32.99 for $20, and why they never came up with a version 2 of the sweet roll plush? Their not so gender specific Daedric Prince is on special. π

And so another No Brainer Day passed, would anyone be the wiser for it?Might be worth a shot, thanks. π
And looking at The (Nearly) Whole Microsoft Catalog, it all kicked off with a cracker in ’81:Seattle Computer Products Developer of 86Q-DOS operating system software, which became MS-DOS. Purchased software for $50,000, but later was sued and paid the company a nearly $1 million settlement. 1 Watcom is a good IDE candidate, tried the vintage 10a, they forgot to compile WRE to 32bit, and the installation dialog warns you might have an issue with fitting their application on the disk because there is only
-xxxxxxxxxx bytes remaining on the disk. 10.5 is much better, the more recent Open Watcom is worth a try as well. πWould it be nice … to grow up to be an ugly old creep like me!
