Message maps in MFC are covered here:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49383622/an-explanation-of-message-maps
In a nutshell MFC does away with the message switches and makes them typed. Probably a good idea for many, here the tendency was to stay with the “native” C++ stuff. đ

Upvoted this answer as it looks like the solution – looks like VS was rather kind. đ
Wouldn’t harm to check references ofLPTIMECALLBACK

Watched the Atomic Cafe as well – the eclectric chair segment didn’t appear to have much relevance.
Missed the bar of soap action – is it towards the end?
The government would want to actually consider issuing Bert the Turtle hazmats for likely affected populations – if nothing but for a morale boost! -

Soap on a rope for extra convenience? Atomic Cafe at YouTube is on the list!
Mum also wanted Brief Encounter at IA, recommended, especially for Angela Lansbury’s debut and Rachmaninoff’s score.

What’s your favourite Scalzi title? Here’s a quote attributed from Scalzi:
I am not responsible for actions of the imaginary version of me you have inside your head,
Sounds like a retort in haste – he’ll probably deny ownership. The version template of Scalzi in his own mind must have a set of immutable characteristics translatable to the mind of…[Read more]

It’s already here. đ
So watched Distant Cousins on Tubi, terrible and left it on autoplay. Up came The Night Caller, then The Perfect Tenant followed by 100 feet. All terrible, and the feeling that the production crew in all these films were escapees from some institution for the criminally insane, (as was the terminology then). Turns out that…[Read more] -

There was discussion back here as to whether it could be classed as a mockumentary, perhaps it was intended as a documentary, but lines got blurred somehow in the making of it. Who knows – will have to see it. đ

Not sure, CObjType might be a reference to CObj ?? records. From the WB readme:
(COBJ) Constructible Object â Skyrim and later
Which doesn’t make sense unless it had a previous alias. Is it possible to determikne what’s using it?
MWSE references COBJmacros and GCOBJ

Sorry, there’s too much on this hard disk (including old versions of VS etc). The move away from VS is understandable though, will get Meson loaded on the HP once the move downstairs is complete. đ

Cdialog looks as if it can do the job at least – haven’t got the toolchain setup for as yet. Doesn’t look as if it is invoked anywhere. Should be in the module which manages the click events for menus and/or buttons – has this always been the case?
