  • Yeah, I may need to ask them on their forums if I decide I don’t like Pop OS

Nice list! Will keep it handy!

Yeah, if it weren’t for the poor VR support, I’d probably try forgoing Windows entirely. I also may need to install the drivers for the fan controller.

Hopefully *nix VR support will reach feature parity with Windows soon!

    We definitely…[Read more]

  • Nice!

Most of the special landmarks in the area have been taken over by the enemy! We need some spoiler tag support or similar 😛

I’m currently trying to liberate the Old Man’s hut, which is a bit difficult. The Yiga clan has barricaded the area so you’re fighting in a cramped space. I’ll drive them out! Just going to take a few lives! 😛

  • It’s a Logitech G502. My previous mouse was a G9. I quite like it: it’s nice and big for my large hands and only has the buttons I need and no more. I’ll probably get the same model when I replace it 🙂

I had a mouse break on me in the middle of using it once. Not fun! 🙁

Yeah, I’m not sure. The main thing I was thinking of was seeing if it…[Read more]

A game that brings one back to the start like that wins a special place in this gamer soul. 🙂
Here are some top tips from GGSP a player half way through the game is guaranteed not to watch. 😛

Been looking at scientific journals again and, while there are a lot of them, Science and Nature, along with their affiliates, look rather promising

An operating system can provide “support” for any hardware, whether it works under the OEM driver is a up in the air. As of last year, AMD don’t have any support at all for FreeBSD, looks a bit better for OpenBSD.
Yes, there’s quite a bit to choose from in code editors, one that also has language support, debugging, and auto-suggest.
    Okay then, VR…[Read more]

  • With a new computer on the way, I wanted to start up a topic to go over configuration.

It’s running Linux from the outset but I may want to switch that to FreeBSD at some point but video card compatibility isn’t all that clear. OpenBSD says they support the AMD Rx 7900XT but FreeBSD has nothing saying one way or the other. That’s something to…[Read more]

Is it a branded mouse – it’s much easier to recall and id the relics if there was a snazzy model name or brand associated with it. 😛
The pebble has regressed a little, the button is a little unresponsive and the movement is less than optimal, could be the cold temperature too. Will persist. 🙂
Made a Puppy Linux USB disk and updated the thread, ,…[Read more]

  • So there’s a side quest that takes you back to the starting area from Breath of the Wild. The area has undergone some changes though: it’s now filled with with very high level enemies and is quite dangerous! Of course, I’m still exploring it 😀

  • Yeah, been getting it a lot over here. Starting to copy the post before I submit just in case. I really need to get in the habit of hitting refresh!

    Sorry! It’s this one 🙂

When GOG was giving away Neverwinter, the servers went down for almost a week! They wound up giving it away again a few months later as a result 😛

Hot and humid! It’s horrible! I cheated the other day and grabbed some ice cream on the way home from my walk, though, so that helped 😛

  • Happened again today when posting on a tab left open for a day or two. Really have to close them after use! 🙁

What’s the card game again? (With these fumbling hands the best is 52 card Pickup!)
Funny how the Steam servers choke up when there’s a sale on.
Cold and dry over here, how is it over your way?

  • None can compare to good ole Blue Eyes! What about a whistling frog?

  • DeVaultSetter started the topic Undo/Redo Issues in the forum Forum 1 year, 4 months ago

BBPress don’t provide these buttons by default?
When starting a new topic, type some text in the content box, note the right click menu doesn’t show Undo. It will in the topic title box, and when selected, undoes the text in the original content box.
When more text is added, the Undo appears on right-click, but no Redo Unfortunately, and in Edge,…[Read more]

  • And watched the last one! Even with the plot holes and paradoxes, they’re wonderful films! 😀

  • Will do 🙂

  • Happened again today after successfully submitting a post to another thread, so no logout issues. This time, hitting the back button revealed no post content. Must have been too quick for AutoSave, (or something) – changed the interval to 45 seconds.

  • DeVaultSetter replied to the topic Forum Search Issues in the forum Forum 1 year, 4 months ago

Yes, best left well enough alone for now.
Both showed on Chrome on the tablet, when logged out and then logged in, and now, no edit/reply options presenting, so looks consistent with the desktop.
Could be with all this weird stuff going on there’s some kind of memory fault with WordPress – not an easy one for the devs to track down. 🙁

    😀

We have three towns with the same name here. It can get really confusing! 😛

    Yeah, it’s really sad 🙁

The waitlist is really long! Going to take me a while to get to the second book! 😛

    🙁

We had a brief lesson in shorthand in grade school once. Not sure of the rationale but I never did get the hang of it. I found the symbols to be quite…[Read more]
