  • And got Seed of Chucky lined up for this weekend. 🙂

Going to plan to watch The Brain that wouldn’t Die again soon, too. That should be fun!

Turns out that Tubi has Classic Who in their library. Could be fun to watch the old ones! I do miss British comedies. PBS used to show them on weekend nights but stopped doing that about ten years ago. They…[Read more]

  • Yes, do remember giggling at Chucky, on the list again. 😀
Dying on the Edge is flicked in the idiom of true B-Grade, possessing elements that both move and intrigue. The screenplay is rather smooth, laced with a professional touch, and is well directed with a solid supporting cast. And it’s very sad, 3.5/5 here.
Right now streaming The Vanishing…[Read more]

  • Attack of the 50 Foot Woman has been watched again. Just as much fun as last time! 😀

And Bride of Chucky has been watched. Absolutely hilarious. 😛

Yeah, just a basic syrup. The recipe said to stack the layers and then pour. It may work better to do the first layer, stack, then pour again.

Cool! Wasn’t aware she had a site. Good to know! And an updated version of the book is on the way. Awesome 🙂

Made a basic goat curry out of it with carrots, green peppers, and rice. Nothing fancy but it…[Read more]

  • The Back-UPS RS 900G there might require a replacement battery, however no warnings from the UPS monitor software. Could also be touching on the threshold of insufficient voltage as the PC was tested on another AC outlet. As is often the case out in the boondocks, the waveforms of the current can be a bit blocky, and the PSU itself is as old as…[Read more]

That’s odd, is it just a standard sugar syrup like the one here? Of course it would make sense if it were for just one sponge section, was a particular filling recommended for it? She also welcomes questions. 🙂
Lovely, any recipes in mind? Wikihow covers the basics rather well. 🙂

Yep, you should make a pizza in it!

I do have a pizza stone but have never used it for pizza. I’ve only ever used it for bread 😛

Yep! The branch said everything must go so I took them at their word and got the sign 😀 Awesome! These days, most places are using LED imitation lights. I don’t think they look as cool and they lack the sound of the…[Read more]

  • Wasn’t aware that Nightmare Alley had an older version. Will definitely add it to the list. Been meaning to see the newer one, just haven’t gotten to it yet.

Watched Child’s Play 2 and 3 the other day. The second film was a lot of fun with Chucky taking revenge on Andy. 3, though, wasn’t that good. Most of the film focused on Andy’s plight in…[Read more]

Found a source! Our small, locally owned grocery store carries it! 🙂

  • Metric over here, so Attack of the 15.24 Woman. 😛
Anything from the Little Shop of Nuclear Plant Horrors is sure to take one off-piste, even if you happen to be a script writer for the film!
Kill the Messenger was on again, do remember seeing at least a part of it before, funny how the guy in real life was found shot in the head twice, explained…[Read more]

  • I still see DOS used from time to time powering the checkout lanes at a store. Getting to be relatively rare when it wasn’t too long ago that I saw it everywhere (ten years). Saw it recently, too. Think it was last year sometime? Not sure where, didn’t think to make a note of it

Batch files are still very useful for performing repetitive tasks.…[Read more]

  • Saw The Crawlers yesterday and that was fun for its absurdity. In the beginning, they have a kid playing with a model of Aubrey II, which was cool. The final battle against the trees was pretty silly. One character uses an ax on a root only to leave it and everyone to get strangled. No one else picks it up. Take it with you! Seriously 😛

  • Will do!

And let’s not forget Surf Nazis Must Die! Sure, their films are pretty bad but that’s part of their charm! The thing is, they know they’re bad and run with it. They’re a lot of fun! 😀

Haven’t seen any of those yet. Murray can be good in semi-dramatic rolls, such as in Scrooged. Granted, he’s not in many though.

    Looks like we lost…[Read more]

Ooh, you have a neon sign? Don’t have Blockbuster over here so a sign like this might look out of place. 😛

The following would be a worthy addition to a shopfront – or even a residence, even if it adds a little to light pollution.

Put White Heat on the list, it’s a classic!

Saw Poultrygeist some years ago, memories of fun but copious amounts of eggsplosive diarrhea were insufficient to warrant a second viewing. Love the Troma titles:

    • Poultry in Motion: Truth Is Stranger Than Chicken
    • Vegas in Space
    • A Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell

Yeah, work continues today on it but they called it “complete” twenty years ago. I remember my grandfather sent off a sample as part of the project. How can it be complete if they’re still analyzing it?

Sounds like something out of The Raven. 😛 I like calzone. Around here, they tend to fill it with a fluffy cheese making it taste very light.…[Read more]

And one of the characters from the book is a Time Lord himself. The book is pretty fun!

Not sure on the comic but will look! I still haven’t seen the Body Snatchers even though it’s been on the actual watchlist for years (not sure which version). I really need to change that 🙁

Will check it out! Been a while since I’ve watched some of the old…[Read more]

Great, thanks. I have an installation USB from where I installed Windows last year. Will that suffice or should I pick up another USB drive?

Thanks, will take a look! I was able to boot Linux without a working bootloader when I initially installed Windows from going directly to the UEFI so it may already be done but will look! 🙂

  • The activity on Dostips has slowed down over time, no doubt due to being less a part of the Windows boot process than it was back in the day, except when it comes to dual booting. List C for preboot file management is sure to help. 🙂

There’s also Windows PE, handy if you want to fix the Windows first. GRUB is certainly an option, here’s a guide on the UEFI usage. 🙂
