As I recall, Das Boot had limited subtitles and the original German version is considered superior to the English version. Really need to watch it.

Looks like Windows 11 24H2 is being pushed out. The changes don’t look too significant. The biggest change is support for AI compute cores. Another notable one is support for WiFi 7. Other than that, it looks like it’s mostly minor tweaks to the UI in addition to other bug fixes under the hood.

Yuck, yuck, yuck. Boeing is still recovering from that fiasco. They’re now talking about splitting the company up to try and recover much needed funds. And let’s not forget all of the worker strikes!

Excellent idea. Folks definitely need to be more aware of this stuff. Only was able to view the first few images without a Facebook account but definitely a good idea. It’s been a while since The Jungle came out and it should definitely be remembered today. 🙂

Alright, picked up BeamNG.drive as it was on sale. The physics are good. Really good. And the UI is a lot more intuitive than in Rigs. As expected from being the same team, there are a lot of things that are similar. The controls are also pretty fluid. Not yet sure how well the AI controlled cars work out but we’ll get there 🙂

Yeah, they never did really take off in the stores. Now, you have to find them at online specialty shops (even Amazon only has a few) such as this one. My new Blu-Ray player supports SACD for whatever reason so I may pick one up at some point and give the format a whirl. See if it’s all it’s cracked up to be 🙂

I had to pack up the Wii and PS2 yesterday to make room for other stuff. Sad but I hadn’t used them in a few years. For now, they’ll just live in a closet until I get a plastic bin for them 🙂

To be fair, most of the games I have for them have been getting remastered so it’s not that big of a loss. Just makes me sad.
