I suffer from a weird variation of the Kruger-Dunning Effect in that I think I am better than whatever individual I ever once aspired to be. Aspiration brings on the mythos of evolution, the true test is confidence, really, one has to be confident whatever in whatever they think of themselves, because confidence is a clear and foggy prism through…[Read more]

Using it – well – for an up and coming Odd Blog, more on that later. 🙂
Like the idea of the Tuneup_plus name for this project despite it being more about information gathering, login is also required to obtain a copy of Gather_additional_dump_files. -

Good to know, oops – completely forgot about the 1.4 cable, so will pop in there next week. 🙂
All of a sudden, the svchost is running “NETWORK SERVICE” at full bore after hibernate resume. Only supposed to happen on cold boot, Delivery Optimization is off, and Network Discovery is turned off for public networks if that is a thing. Windows Resume…[Read more] -

That looks really nice, and there is a version for Linux as well!
Installed Ghidra, what an amazing project, as decompilers has to have a bazillion things more than compilers for getting anything close to operational compiled code. Their help system is rather antiquated, and there is no urgency to update it. 😛 -

Back in the day, The Flintstones was a favourite just before dinner, in terms of finely crafted animation, could we ever call it a Stone Age version of The Simpsons?
Completed The Consultant, kind of hit and miss really, a curio, as you never would guess how it ends until well over half way.

It’s the culture of corps too, many of the denizens in existence within their hallowed walls have no choice but declare there is no such thing as life outside, before, or after the corp, therefore the corp is seen as the provider and maintainer of all the means of existence and sustenance for the present and incumbent. So why do they have to…[Read more]

And looking at The (Nearly) Whole Microsoft Catalog, it all kicked off with a cracker in ’81:Seattle Computer Products
Developer of 86Q-DOS operating system software, which became MS-DOS.
Purchased software for $50,000, but later was sued and paid the company a nearly $1 million settlement.

Once in a blue moon you might find a local Office Solutions company bending over backwards in offering a disk/file copying service, then creating ISOs is a breeze. The possibility of monetary gain by instead purchasing the game through the outlets of today cannot and will not be underestimated. 😛

Or sucking the poor critters up into huge freezer trawlers? Certainly a possibility if we are far enough down into the atmosphere where liquids occur, and in a nicely positioned de-pressurized gian super-dome so that things aren’t completely squinched by the overpowering gravity. A construct something akin in magnitude and complete opposite in…[Read more]

That’s a UK list, the variation in locale is just amazing, the Australasia variants like the one here don’t, confirmed also in Wikipedia. It’s also down to what they define as “support” – the Tab A may very well possess the means of supporting the feature, the support being activated when and if the chip is actually installed, otherwise the…[Read more]

Copying html or other content into the Visual tab usually gives a good visual replication of what was just copied. When the post is saved, much of the formatting is lost, on account it is tagged with CSS classes WP knows nothing about.
For example if we have:
<span class="className"> copied text </span>
Is there a stock bunch of class names we can…[Read more] -

Think that should work, thanks. 🙂 Even after considerable use, these fingers are all thumbs on the A8, also could be an issue with the 1080p res.
So amid unspeakable and unmitigated horror and chagrin came the revelation the A8, (like the old 10.1) doesn’t sport an NFC chip. The shock realization came by not in the attempt to install and use Tap…[Read more] -

Seeing that the search has been bricked for a while, what about a link to another tab for a Google search in Stearnvault? Modifying the current search boxes might be a thing, Sod’s Law has it that as soon they are operational, the native site search will return.
