Stearn, William

Birth Name Stearn, William
Gender male
Age at Death about 62 years

Notes

Note

Apprenticed to his uncle in Ampthill as a tailor, then travelling around the district by pony & trap to measure up suits for the gentry and livery for the servants.
Later, with the help of Sarah's family, he acquired an old coaching inn for use as a tailoring workshop.
There is a record of a William Stearn as publican of the "Crown" in Mill Road, Cambridge, no date, so a guess it is this William.
