    An old classic:

If that guy on the sax had all the moves, they were sure busting to break out – just had to call 00111Loverboy for a primer! 🙂
Fast Five was fun, and the soundtrack didn’t disappoint:

        Been a while 😀

Almost Halloween so we need to kick it off!

        😀

Here’s a bit of a mix for today:

Wild selections there, over here there was Hans on ABC News Breakfast with Camp as Christmas, a lively alternative to Mariah:

Time for something a little more traditional!

Don’t know the names of most of the traditional ones. I’m more of an oddball kind of person 😛

Over here, dreaming of a slightly off-white Christmas is good enough so long it deosn’t get too drab grey!
Here’s an uncredited song from Inspector Morse clipped for youtube:

One fine orchestrator for film scores is Alberto Iglesias – here’s the main titles from The Two Faces of January:

Here’s one from Broken Embraces with cool still-image warping visuals on the change:

Another composer of movie music who knocks us over and round like roly poly dolls is Silvestri – here’s the theme for Father of the Bride:

He also scored for a fabulous bunch of movies like Lara Croft, Judge Dredd and the Avengers. Amazing! 🙂

Whelp, looks like my YouTube recs are all messed up. Mostly just mixes in there. 😛

And we can’t forget about Hans Zimmer!

Haven’t listened to this one in ages:

Would it be nice … to grow up to be an ugly old creep like me!

In honor of this product, here’s some AC/DC:

And in related products, here’s a unique design: https://www.techradar.com/audio/turntables/this-wild-turntable-plays-vinyl-without-a-tonearm-automatically-detects-the-rpm-and-is-a-solid-lump-of-aluminum

Will be interesting to see how it works in practice. The comments are absolutely brutal. I can see how resonance will be an issue with the location, along with potential contaminants since dust likes to settle on the bottom and in creases.

Not too many comments in there either, also a Reddit thread with similar. The Miniot wheel is what we want:

AT’s newest entry looks pretty slick too!

Still using the Thorens 165 I picked up a couple of years ago. It’s completely stock, which is cool. The previous owner took really good care of it so the springs aren’t even worn out! 🙂

Here’s another interesting one coming out: https://miniot.com/blogs/wheel-updates/introducing-wheel-3

Using optics to read the grooves has been done before with mixed success. I wonder how they’re going to factor gunk and grime in the mix?

                    Light jazz anyone?

Need to clean up my YouTube recommendations one of these days. Thanks to the algorithm, they’re a complete mess now 😛

Haven’t been to the record store in a while. Probably should drop in for a visit soon 🙂

Jaws and Superman soundtracks? Could be fun!

Showcase items for any record bar. 🙂

                      Hot off the truck

The back of the truck would twitch a few nostrils. 😛 Great idea with the P65 warnings – is that passed on by the manufacturers I wonder?
Love the Jazz: here’s a few on an old Porter number:
