Other sources have the location as Crawford, or Up- Holland (Upholland), a village close to Skelmersdale and civil parish in the West Lancashire district. That Crawford is the only location in UK, another Crawford is in Scotland.
This is unlikely, as the source of Crowfield was Honor Mackichan, who resides in nearby Daventry. Her notes have it as Crawfield, believed to be a typo.
There are a few farms in Crowfield, no mention of a Glebe farm, there is a Glebe Farm Ltd further south, just to the east of Brackley.
