Ugh. What a mess!

I generally eyeball the power requirements for the individual parts and then add a few hundred watts to provide extra headroom for future upgrades and power hungry tasks that I may perform. For instance, 750W was recommended by the linked tool in the Reddit post but I went with a 1000W power supply. Definitely overkill for most tasks but it’s generally better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it 🙂

Ever found the safety features on some power boards overkill? Here’s an example, but there was an easy solution this time. 🙂
When very young, was inspired by the different designs and implementations of power poles. Some of note in this country, Britain and notably, France. Nothing compared to these:

More infrastructure should be designed as art forms. Civilization would look so much better if it weren’t covered in bland industrial displays. Just as an example, the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty could have cellular aerials on top. Streetlights could have a whimsical appearance, like sunflowers. Just make things look better!

I miss easily getting articles of whimsy like that. Fewer and fewer sites are posting that sort of thing these days and it makes me sad (not to mention the discovery problem) 🙁
