Couple of weeks back a visitor evinced interest in joining the conversations, as there happens to be no signup link on the forums page.
A possible workaround is to use code for the functions.php file found at the end of this thread, if we use that, we can create a file for Twenty Twenty Three theme as it doesn’t have one, or better, just go straight to installing Twenty Twenty Four, which does come with a functions.php.

Right now, the site is set to invite only with registration disabled. We can either turn it on or set it up to manually approve each registration request. The regular private forums are set to be viewed by any member that’s logged in but we can change it to admins only (the group forums are private to the groups with the way we have them set right now) if desired 🙂
