The family tree of Reginald Stearn (Melbourne) shows Jane deceased at 1853, age 20. Considered unlikely as the date of marriage was 1854, and impossible given the birth dates of her children.
In the case of a typo, 1863 would have been a possible alternative, but according a letter of Bert Stearn, she died in 1883 at the age of 52.
