Yeah, that’s a known issue in bbPress that’s fixed in the dev version (2.6.7 I think) but hasn’t been pushed downstream. Here’s the link: https://github.com/bbpress/bbPress/commit/bbde786798c47b61f1ef87bd049224f351458b7b

Probably worth forwarding to Robin to see if they can fix it on their end 🙂

It does, however can’t see why I ever got the notion the tags should work without enclosing ol, ul or menu tags when it isn’t really a good idea at all. 😛

That’s what the issue was? When I was testing, I just assumed you were getting the issue with the malformed ol and ul tags. 😛
