Ad Astra was incredible. It focused almost entirely on the journey with a slight dash of the politics involved, giving us a nice and relaxing space film. The ongoing narration as opposed to current interactions really sold it as a narrative. You could actually feel the distance and tension it was trying to portray in lonely space. The visuals and music were icing on the cake. Will definitely put that in the list for a physical copy 🙂

Yeah, the international market has it much better. Over here, I think they use us as guinea pigs. 😛 Roku doesn’t have proper categories and only shows a snippet of what’s on the service. In order to find the other stuff, it’s a matter of searching for a title and hoping it’s available. Tubi keeps recommending stuff I’ve already watched on the service and even puts those at the top of the categories. Fortunately, they do have proper categories. Amazon Prime doesn’t have categories at all, which is weird for a paid service. It’s pretty frustrating 🙁

A lot of stuff isn’t even available to rent, such as the aforementioned Woody Allen films. Why they’re not available anywhere is mind boggling.

Amazing find! Futurama is definitely worth it! I may pick up a 4k Blu-Ray player next month during the holiday sales. 🙂

Haven’t seen the film but I did read the books. Probably need to watch them at some point. I never did understand the relationship between the psychedelic spice and space travel. It was never properly explained in the books! 😛

Is it explained in the films?
