Her sister, Sarah, married a prosperous farmer by the name of Maurice Bines whose livestock & produce won many a prize at rural shows. They had five children, Arthur (d. WW1, 1915), Edward (d. WW1 1917), Leonard (farmer), Maud (m. to William Collins , civil servant at "10 Downing Street") and May (m. Norman Couch, schoolteacher, Mason, Pastmaster at Bishop Stortford Masonic Lodge who retired 1948 - they resided in Harlow, Essex with an adopted child Joan who alos became a teacher)
