So this will contain various tips and fixes for those using stereos and speakers. Only got a single item to start with but hopefully it’ll fill up over time 🙂
So, to start, if you have a high frequency noise coming out of the speakers it may be due to EMF interference from stray charge entering the RCA jacks. One possible solution is to cap the unused the jacks. The science is sound and the noise went away after I installed the caps. Essentially, you’re adding a Faraday cage around the jacks to keep out wandering EMI.
